Owner, operator and resident ceramicist here at the hub, I have a growing passion for functional ceramics. I also run workshops at the hub sharing my passion for clay with adults and young people.
I have always loved art and as a trained art teacher I believe that everyone is creative in one way or another, whether you express that creativity in the kitchen, on the dance floor, or in a game of basketball (as described by Danielle McDaniel).
The hub is a welcoming and collaborative space for people of all ages; a space where you can create and educate. There are rooms for artists to rent and space to hire for groups and workshops. My vision is for the hub to be a self-sustaining creative space for our local community. Come join us and see what you can create.

VPG is a not-for-profit community organisation based in Far North Queensland. Our purpose is to improve child and youth transitions. We work collaboratively with families, tailoring our support to best suit YOU – your needs, your goals and your family.
As a parent living and working on the Cassowary Coast, I understand how widespread and diverse we are. I know first-hand the value of being a part of a supportive community and the need to access effective, quality and practical family and parenting support.
With a psychology background, I am interested in child development, family dynamics and supporting the improvement of mental health outcomes through enhancing deeper family connections.
My goal as the Every Family Officer for the Cassowary Coast is to provide convenient, positive and empowering support to families through the range of programs we provide.

She’s known for her precision, her creative flair, and her ability to bring even the most unique design ideas to life.
As a mum herself, Amy understands the importance of feeling welcome and comfortable. That’s why Studio 13 is a family-friendly space where young mums, busy professionals, and anyone in need of “me time” can unwind. Clients can expect a warm, relaxed atmosphere with a little touch of sass — because beautiful nails should be as unforgettable as the person wearing them.
